10 ft Ice Maker Supply Line

This 10 ft supply line connects ice makers to a water source using brass compression and FIP fittings. The PVC tube with stainless-steel cover handles temperatures from 40 to 180 degrees F. It meets IAPMO, NSF and UPC standards for potable water use. Installers and facility managers use it for new ice machine hook-ups or replacement lines.

250 psi working pressure at 70 F

The line is rated for 250 psi at 70 degrees F, giving ample headroom for typical residential and light-commercial ice maker pressures. Pressure capacity decreases as water temperature rises toward the 180 degree F limit. The 1/8 in inside diameter suits standard ice maker flow rates but restricts volume for high-demand dispensers. It is not suited for main-line plumbing or high-flow appliances.

Compression and FIP brass fittings

One end uses a 1/4 in compression fitting, the other a 1/4 in female iron pipe thread, both brass. The compression end seals on the tube without soldering, while the FIP end threads onto a matching male adapter. Neither fitting accepts push-to-connect or sweat connections without additional adapters. The fixed 10 ft length cannot be shortened without replacing the compression ferrule.
