The Keyence N-L20 is a new Ethernet communication module designed for industrial automation and control systems. It provides network connectivity via 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet plus USB 2.0 Full Speed interfaces. The unit operates on 24 VDC power and includes two digital inputs and four transistor outputs rated at 30 VDC and 100 mA each. Protocols supported are Web, SNMP and Telnet for remote management.

This module suits engineers adding Ethernet and USB communication to machinery or process equipment that runs on 24 VDC supplies. It fits applications needing two sensor inputs and four actuator outputs within a 0 to 50 °C ambient range. Power And I/O Ratings Decide Fit

The critical specification is the 24 VDC supply with +10 % / -20 % tolerance and 380 mA maximum current draw. Outputs switch up to 26.4 VDC at 100 mA with a minimum ON voltage of 15 VDC and residual voltage of 1 V or less. Inputs need at least 15 VDC to register ON.
