The KastKing Perigee II is a two-piece spinning rod measuring seven feet with a medium power and fast action. It handles line weights from six to twelve pounds and suits anglers targeting bass, trout, walleye, salmon, catfish, steelhead or saltwater species. The blank uses Toray 24-ton carbon matrix KastFlex technology for a balance of strength and sensitivity.

Medium Power and Fast Action Limits

The medium power rating and six-to-twelve-pound line range limit the rod to lighter lures and smaller fish; it will not handle heavy jigs, large swimbaits or trophy-class saltwater species effectively. Fast action concentrates flex in the upper third, so hook-sets are quick but the rod offers less cushion for sudden runs on light line.
