This set provides a replacement lithium-ion power cell and a compact charger for select Kodak and Ricoh digital cameras. The battery delivers 3.7 V and 2400 mAh capacity, matching the original KLIC-8000 specification. It suits owners of listed models such as the Z885, Z1012 IS, Z1015 IS, Z1085 IS, Z1485 IS, Z612 IS, Z712 IS, Z812 IS, Z8612 IS, Pocket Video Camera ZX1, ZXD and PlaySport ZX1, plus Ricoh Caplio R1, R1S, R1V, R2 and RZ1. Photographers needing power for other camera systems will not find a fit here.

8.9 Wh capacity and intelligent dual-slot charging

The cell stores 8.9 Wh of energy for extended shooting sessions. The LTD2 charger accepts 5 V input at up to 3 A and can charge two batteries simultaneously at 4.2 V and 800 mA each. An LCD panel shows real-time charging status and remaining capacity for each slot. When only one battery is inserted the charger still operates at the same current, so a second cell is not required for operation. Users who need faster than 800 mA replenishment or higher-wattage input will find the hardware limited to the stated output.

Micro-USB and Type-C inputs with swappable plates

The charger includes both Micro-USB and USB Type-C ports for flexible power sourcing from adapters, power banks or computers. A Micro-USB cable is supplied in the box. The design allows the charging plate to be changed, enabling compatibility with other battery types beyond the KLIC-8000 and Ricoh DB-50. Photographers who rely on proprietary dock-only chargers or who require simultaneous charging of more than two cells must look elsewhere.
