The Kastar BP-819 kit supplies one 7.4V 2200mAh lithium-ion battery and a compact quadruple charger. It fits a long list of Canon VIXIA camcorders including the HF G20, HF G30, HF M30 through HF M36, HF M300, HF M40, HF M41, HF M46, HF S10, HF S11, HF S20, HF S21, HF S30, HF10, HF11, HF20, HF21, HF100, HF200, HG20, HG21 and HG30. Videographers who need spare power for multi-camera shoots or long events can charge four cells at once.

16.3 Wh capacity with four-bay charging

Each battery stores 16.3 Wh, enough for extended recording sessions on compatible VIXIA models. The charger powers one or two cells at 800 mA and three or four cells at 500 mA per bay. When all four bays are occupied the current drops, so a full charge cycle takes longer than with a single battery. Users who need rapid turnaround for many cells should plan for the reduced rate.

Micro-USB and USB-C input flexibility

The charger accepts 5V 2–3A input through either a Micro-USB or a USB-C port and includes a USB-C cable. This lets operators power the unit from common wall adapters, power banks or laptop ports without carrying a proprietary supply. Crews relying on older Micro-USB-only power banks will need an adapter or a USB-C source to use the charger.
