Dual USB charger for Canon BP-808/BP-809 packs

The Kastar BP-808 LTD2 charges two Canon BP-808 or BP-809 lithium-ion batteries simultaneously from any 5 V USB source. Swappable plates adapt the unit to several other Canon pack designs such as BP-819 and BP-827. An LCD panel shows charge level and status for each bay while the compact 5 by 3 by 1 inch body fits easily in a kit bag. Both Micro-USB and USB-C inputs are supported and a Micro-USB cable is included.

This charger matches the Canon VIXIA HF M30, HF M31, HF M32, HF M36, HF M40, HF M41, HF M46, HF S10, HF S11, HF S20, HF S21, HF S30, HF10, HF11, HF20, HF21, HG20, HG21, HG30, XA10 and XA10 HD models, plus the FS and HF G series units listed in the compatibility data. It is not for owners of cameras that use battery types outside the BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 or BP-827 families, or for anyone requiring an AC mains input without a separate USB power adapter.

4.2 V 800 mA per bay output

Each slot delivers 4.2 volts at 800 milliamps whether one or two batteries are inserted, so charge time scales directly with pack capacity. The 5 V 2 to 3 A input requirement means any standard 15 watt USB charger or power bank can run the unit. If your workflow demands faster than 800 mA per cell or a dedicated AC cord, this model will not meet that need.
