KASDA Networks Inc
Dual-band wireless access point running OpenWRT with three external antennas and 750 Mbps combined throughput
The KASDA KP322 provides wireless connectivity on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with combined rates up to 750 Mbps. It runs OpenWRT firmware and includes three external 5 dBi antennas for signal coverage. A single Fast Ethernet port connects the unit to a wired network. Management is available through a web GUI or Telnet interface.
This unit suits users adding Wi‑Fi to an existing wired network where OpenWRT customisation is valued. Buyers needing Gigabit wired uplinks, multi‑gigabit wireless throughput or mesh roaming should look at other hardware. Environments requiring PoE powering or more than one LAN port are not addressed by this model.
The headline figure of 750 Mbps aggregates 450 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz under 802.11n/ac operation. Real‑world throughput will be lower and depends on client capability and channel conditions. This aggregate number is the primary specification for judging whether the device meets a given bandwidth requirement.
No published specifications for this item yet.
The 750 Mbps figure combines the 450 Mbps 5 GHz radio and the 300 Mbps 2.4 GHz radio; a single device connects to only one band at a time, so real-world speed per client tops out at the band's individual rate.
The unit provides one Fast Ethernet LAN port for connection to your switch or router.
Three 5 dBi antennas protrude from the chassis and can be angled; allow a few centimetres of clearance around each for best signal.
