Pocket-sized COB lantern

The Kaito COB-Mini-2pack-YB is a collapsible LED lantern built for campers, hikers and households preparing for power outages. Its COB LED array emits up to 300 lumens of 360° light, covering a tent or room with even illumination. The unit collapses to 3.7 inches tall and weighs very little, so it slips into a backpack, glove box or kitchen drawer. It runs on three AA batteries that are not included.

No-button pull-to-light operation

There are no switches or modes to manage; you simply lift the head to turn the lantern on and push it down to turn it off. This mechanical action means the light cannot be activated accidentally inside a packed bag. The fold-away handle lets you hang the lantern from a branch, tent loop or nail, but there is no magnetic base, hook clip or tripod thread for alternative mounting. Water-resistant construction handles rain and splashes, yet the housing is not rated for submersion.

Two-pack covers basic emergency needs

With two lanterns in the package you can light a sleeping area and a cooking space simultaneously, or keep one at home and one in the car. Each unit delivers 300 lumens, which is sufficient for close-range tasks such as reading, cooking or navigating a campsite at night. The output will not replace a high-power spotlight for long-distance trail finding or wide-area flood lighting. Battery life varies with the AA cells used, and the lanterns have no low-battery indicator or power-level settings to extend runtime.
