K-Flex 7/8" Tee Fitting Insulation

This elastomeric tee insulation fits 7/8-inch outer-diameter tubing with a 1/2-inch wall thickness. It is designed for plumbing professionals who need thermal protection on branched pipe connections. The closed-cell Buna-N rubber/PVC construction resists moisture ingress and microbial growth. Installation uses an unslit form that slides over the fitting before the joint is completed.

Plenum-Rated Closed-Cell Build

The material carries a flame spread index of 25 and meets UL 94 requirements, making it suitable for plenum spaces. Antimicrobial and flame-retardant additives are integrated into the foam rather than applied as a coating. Flexible black tubing allows routing through tight mechanical rooms without cracking. The unslit design means the installer must open the insulation on site for retrofit work.
