Jonard
Terminates and cuts wires on 66-type blocks with a reversible blade, hi/low impact settings and a built-in hook/spudger
This Jonard punchdown tool is built for technicians terminating wire on 66-type blocks. The manual impact mechanism offers hi/low settings to match the required force for data and voice jacks. A cushion handle reduces hand fatigue during repetitive installations. The tool stores its combination hook and spudger inside the chassis for quick access.
Power comes entirely from the user, so there is no motor noise or battery to manage. The adjustable impact setting lets you limit force when working on delicate panels or increase it for solid seating. Because the tool is manually actuated, it draws zero electrical power and produces only the sound of the blade seating each conductor.
A single 66 blade ships installed and the cut side is colour-coded yellow for instant orientation. The combination hook and spudger tucks into the chassis, keeping the tip protected and ready for wire dressing. An enlarged blade storage compartment holds the included blade securely when not in use.

Slide the 66 blade into the enlarged storage compartment until it clicks, ensuring the yellow cut side faces outward; the step often missed is verifying the blade locks securely before terminating wires.
The 66 blade will eventually dull from repeated terminations and should be replaced; the built-in hook/spudger and cushion handle require no scheduled maintenance beyond occasional cleaning.
Operator fatigue from repeated manual high-impact actuations typically limits continuous use before the tool mechanism or 66 blade shows wear.
