The JBL BAR-1000-MK2 is a 7.1.4 channel soundbar system designed for home theatre enthusiasts who want immersive surround sound without a complex receiver setup. It includes a 10” wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speakers with up-firing drivers to deliver overhead effects. The system supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding for object-based audio. It connects to TVs and sources via HDMI, optical, USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

7.1.4 channels with up-firing height speakers

Four up-firing speakers in the main bar and the wireless rear speakers create a hemispherical soundstage that places effects overhead and behind the listener. The 10” subwoofer handles low-frequency impact down to 50 Hz, while the bar’s racetrack drivers and tweeters cover the midrange and highs. MultiBeam 3.0 processing widens the front stage, and PureVoice 2.0 enhances dialogue clarity. The system runs out of steam in very large rooms where reference-level output is required.

WireLogic 8 ft Ultra High Speed HDMI cable included

The bundle adds a WireLogic Ruby 8 ft cable rated for 48 Gbps bandwidth, supporting 8K/60 and 4K/120 video pass-through with HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Direction-controlled conductors are designed to drain induced RF noise away from sensitive audio circuits. The JBL One app provides guided sound calibration, source switching and streaming service integration across ecosystems. No separate AV receiver or speaker wire runs are needed.
