The Jaspertronics BL-FS180A is a new lamp-and-housing module built to fit Optoma projectors that use the BL-FS180A part number. It arrives as a single unit with the lamp already seated in its housing, so installation requires no separate assembly. The module is suited for owners of compatible Optoma models who need a like-for-like replacement. It is not intended for projectors that use a different lamp code or a bare bulb without housing.

Consistent output over extended sessions

The lamp uses Phoenix-type internals that match the original specifications, delivering stable brightness throughout a typical viewing session. Light output remains steady rather than fading quickly after a short warm-up period. Colour balance holds across the rated life, avoiding the premature shift that can occur with non-spec alternatives. The module is not designed for projectors that demand a higher-wattage lamp or a different ignition profile.

Standard operating temperature and power draw

In normal use the module runs at the projector’s factory-defined temperature and power levels, with no additional cooling requirements. Fan noise stays at the level the projector was engineered for, since the lamp’s thermal signature matches the original. Power consumption aligns with the BL-FS180A rating, so the existing power supply handles it without modification. The unit is not suited for projectors that require a lower-heat or lower-wattage lamp variant.
