It supports 8K at 30Hz, 4K at 120Hz and 1080P at 240Hz with 32.4Gbps bandwidth and carries audio.

Resolution and refresh limits of the DP 1.4 link

The link tops out at 8K 30Hz, 4K 120Hz or 1080P 240Hz. Higher refresh rates at 8K or 4K are not possible over this interface. The 240Hz figure at 1080P is only reachable if both the graphics card and the monitor support that mode. The switch is backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort versions.
