The Jansicotek C08LS is an aluminium and rubber laptop riser that lifts the screen by six inches to bring it closer to eye level. It accepts any notebook from 10 to 15.6 inches, including 13.3 and 15.4 inch models, and weighs 2.24 pounds. The open-back frame promotes passive airflow around the device without using any fans. Rubber pads on the contact points grip the chassis and keep the stand from sliding on the desk.

Passive Cooling Through Open-Back Design

Because the stand has no fans, thermal performance depends entirely on natural convection through the ventilated rear. Under sustained load the aluminium body acts as a modest heat spreader, drawing some warmth away from the laptop base. The elevation also creates a chimney effect that lets hot air rise unobstructed. Results will vary with the laptop’s own cooling system and ambient temperature.

Tool-Free Setup With Rubber Grip Points

The stand arrives fully assembled; simply unfold the arms and place the laptop onto the rubberised cradle. The rubber feet on the base prevent the unit from shifting during typing. The fixed six-inch height cannot be lowered, so users who prefer a shallower angle or need to fit under low shelves may find the elevation too high. No screws, cables or software are required.
