Vehicle power adapter for Dell laptops

This 65W car charger supplies 19.5V at 3.34A from a 12V vehicle socket. It supports Dell Latitude models including the 3310, 3320, 3330, 3410, 3420, 3440, 3450, 3510, 3520, 3540, 3550 and 7220 series. It also fits Dell Pro 14 and 16 systems such as PC14250, PC14255, PC16250 and PC16255. The unit replaces 65W and 45W Dell adapters but does not replace 90W units.

Practical limits of a 12V DC input

The adapter draws power from a standard 12V vehicle outlet, so output is capped at 65W. Laptops that require more than 65W will not charge or may drain while under load. The long power cord lets the plug reach rear-seat or cargo-area sockets without strain. Two LED indicators show when the adapter has input power and when it is delivering output to the laptop.

Right-angle connector and travel build

A right-angle DC tip reduces stress on the laptop port compared with a straight plug, helping the connection last longer. The compact, lightweight housing is easy to pack for travel.
