The iStarUSA D-300-FS is a 3U rackmount chassis built from aluminium and steel in a black finish. It accepts ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards and is aimed at system integrators assembling web servers, database servers or storage nodes that need dense drive capacity in a standard rack.

Seven expansion slots and eight drive bays

Seven full-height expansion slots support PCI, 64-bit PCI, AGP and PCI-Express add-in cards for future upgrades. Storage density comes from two external 5.25-inch bays, one external 3.5-inch bay and five internal 3.5-inch bays, giving eight bays in total for high-density RAID or backup arrays.

Front-mounted PSU with dual-fan cooling
