The Ironclad EXO-MUG-02-S is a size small mechanics glove built for hand protection during automotive and general maintenance tasks. It uses a cut-and-sewn construction with a synthetic leather palm and a polyester back in a black and green colourway. A shirred slip-on cuff allows the glove to be pulled on quickly without adjustable closures. The unlined, single-layer palm preserves tactile feel while shielding against abrasion.

Sustained abrasion resistance

The single-layer synthetic leather palm maintains its protective barrier during extended contact with rough surfaces such as metal, concrete or timber. Because the glove is unlined and non-insulated, heat does not build up inside during long shifts, reducing the sweat that can degrade grip over time. Polyester backing resists snagging and tearing when brushing against sharp edges repeatedly. The shirred cuff stays in place without loosening, keeping debris out throughout the job.

EN standard compliance limits

The glove meets EN standards for basic mechanical protection, covering abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance at the levels defined by that norm. It does not carry additional hazard ratings for chemicals, heat, cold or impact, so it cannot be relied on for welding, hot-part handling or corrosive environments. Touchscreen compatibility is absent, meaning devices must be operated with bare hands or a different glove. Silicone is present in the materials, which may affect paint-adhesion tasks.
