Variable-contrast darkroom paper

Inkpress MultiTone BW Glossy is a resin-coated black-and-white photographic paper for traditional darkroom printing. Each box contains twenty-five sheets sized 8 x 10 inches. The emulsion covers contrast grades 1 through 4, allowing the printer to adjust tonal range with standard variable-contrast filters. It is designed for enthusiasts and students who process their own prints.

Resin-coated glossy finish

The RC base reduces water absorption so the paper dries flat and fast after tray or machine processing. A glossy surface gives deep blacks and a reflective highlight sheen when viewed under normal lighting. Sheets must be handled under a red or amber OC safelight with a 15 watt bulb placed at least 6.5 feet away, with total exposure limited to 40 minutes. Store the unopened package below 70F and 65 percent relative humidity for up to two years.

Fixed sheet count and size

Only twenty-five sheets are supplied, so a large printing session will need multiple boxes. The 8 x 10 inch format suits contact printing from medium-format negatives or small enlargements but does not fit larger carriers without trimming. Contrast control stops at grade 4, limiting the maximum density range available in a single exposure. Buyers who need more sheets per pack or a larger sheet format will find this box insufficient.
