Installers in industrial or commercial settings use it to maintain a NEMA 4/4X rating on junction boxes and control panels.

Sealing Performance Under Continuous Stress

The straight-body design distributes clamping force evenly around the cable jacket so the seal holds during vibration and thermal cycling. Cables outside that range will not seal to the required UL E54218 and CSA LR27378 standards. The 1 5/8 in. installed length adds minimal protrusion inside tight enclosures.
