The connector threads directly into a 3/4 in knockout without a separate locknut. Its insulated throat protects conductors during pulling. No strain-relief mesh or external grounding lug is included, so the installer must provide grounding per code. Over-tightening the compression nut can crack the nylon body, so hand-tight plus a quarter turn is the usual practice.
