Upgrading from Standard Receptacles

A conventional receptacle ties the ground contact to the mounting strap and the building’s standard grounding path, which can carry electrical noise. The IG20CR replaces that arrangement with a dedicated insulated ground wire running from the system ground bus to the green screw, completing a separate isolated ground circuit.
