Power and Uplink Requirements

Each AP22 requires either a PoE connection compliant with 802.1af Class 2 or a separate 12 V power adapter, neither of which is included in this pack. A single Gigabit Ethernet uplink port rated at 100/1000 Mbps provides the wired backhaul for every unit. Verify that your switch ports can supply the necessary PoE class or plan for local power at each mounting location before ordering.

Mesh and Security Features

Smart Mesh Wi-Fi lets the five access points link wirelessly to extend coverage into areas where cabling is impractical. Two-factor authentication is supported for administrator login, adding an extra layer of access control.
