The Juniper EX2300-C-12P is a new 1U compact Ethernet switch designed for small network environments where space and power are limited. Uplink Flexibility and Virtual Chassis

Two 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP uplink ports connect the switch to aggregation or core layers without consuming primary copper ports. Virtual Chassis technology allows up to four EX2300-C switches to be interconnected and managed as a single logical device. This replaces standalone switch stacks that require separate configuration per unit. The jump is worth it when you need simplified operations across multiple wiring closets or floors.

Build Integration and Satellite Role

The compact form factor frees rack space in crowded cabinets or enables wall mounting in areas without racks. The switch can also operate as a satellite device managed by a parent controller, reducing local configuration overhead.
