Enterprise stackable access switch

The HPE Aruba CX 6300M provides 48 ports of 10/100/1000 connectivity with one PoE+ port for powered devices. Four SFP56 uplinks operate at 1, 10, 25 or 50 Gigabit speeds for stacking or aggregation. A fully programmable OS and the Network Analytics Engine deliver automated monitoring and troubleshooting at the access layer. The Gen7 ASIC architecture supports layer 3 features for campus, branch and data centre deployments.

Sustained-load behaviour

The stackable design distributes traffic across multiple units so that uplinks remain uncongested during prolonged peak periods. PoE+ power delivery is maintained continuously on the single powered port without thermal throttling. The programmable OS applies telemetry-driven policies in real time, keeping latency predictable when IoT, mobile and cloud workloads run simultaneously for hours. Redundant stacking links preserve forwarding capacity if a member fails.

SFP56 interface limits

Each uplink port accepts 1, 10, 25 or 50 Gigabit transceivers but cannot exceed 50 Gigabit per lane. Stacking uses the same SFP56 ports, so the number of stack members is bounded by the four available uplinks. Copper 10/100/1000 ports are fixed at 1 Gigabit and do not support 2.5 or 5 Gigabit rates. The single PoE+ port supplies up to 30 watts and cannot power multiple high-draw devices simultaneously.
