The HP 85W93AA Poly Edge E Phone Expansion Module adds extra line keys and feature buttons to compatible Poly Edge E desk phones. It is designed for receptionists, executives or team leads who handle multiple simultaneous calls and need quick access to extensions or shared lines. The module attaches directly to the side of the host phone for a unified desktop presence.

Sustained daily operation

The module draws power from the host phone, so it adds no separate power supply or cable to the desk. Its physical keys retain their labelling and tactile response during continuous use throughout the business day. Because it relies on the phone’s own processor and firmware, performance remains consistent as call volumes fluctuate.

Interface and capacity limits

The expansion connects through the phone’s dedicated side-car port, which supports a single module per device. Each unit provides a fixed set of programmable keys; additional modules cannot be daisy-chained. Compatibility is limited to the Poly Edge E series, so the module cannot be used with other phone families or standalone.
