This 62mm camera filter converts direct light sources into pointed four-cross star patterns. It is designed for photographers who want to add a fairytale-like sparkle to night scenes, festive lights or astrophotography. The effect creates a warm atmosphere without overpowering the original scene. The filter threads onto compatible lens diameters for creative control.

Multi-Coated Glass and Black Rim

Digital multi-coated glass limits surface light reflection to a maximum ratio of .5 percent. A black-rimmed glass edge minimises random reflections inside the frame. Knurling on the filter ring makes it easy to attach and remove the filter from the lens. A UV absorption filter case is included for storage and protection.

Creative Effect Capacity and Limits

The filter comfortably handles point light sources such as stars, street lamps or holiday illuminations, transforming each into a medium-sized four-pointed star. Point bleed is minimised compared to regular star filters. In non-direct light conditions the glass softens the entire image. Rotating the filter changes the direction of the star points for compositional flexibility.
