Bluetooth Class 2 range and flexible base mounting

The scanner communicates wirelessly up to 30 metres with clear line of sight, while the included base supports both desk and wall mounting to fit varied workstation layouts. A multi-interface design with automatic detection handles USB, Keyboard Wedge, RS232 and IBM 46xx connections without manual configuration, and a paging system helps locate misplaced units using visual and auditory signals.

Field-swappable battery removes charging downtime

The lithium-ion pack delivers 12 hours or 45,000 scans per charge and can be exchanged in seconds without tools, so a spare battery keeps the line moving during high-volume shifts. This model is not for operations that require 2D imaging, omnidirectional scanning or ruggedised housings rated for repeated drops onto concrete.
