Controls 20 brands and 100+ models

Each controller uses an IR signal to command the indoor unit, so no wiring runs to the mini-split itself; a 24 V supply is the only electrical requirement. The universal library covers 20 major manufacturers and more than 100 specific models, handling temperature, mode, fan speed, scheduling, geo-fencing and auto changeover. Limits appear when a mini-split falls outside the supported brand list or when the 24 V source is unavailable, leaving that zone dependent on its original remote.

Tabletop or wall mounting with app integration

Flexible mounting lets the D6 sit on a desk or fix to a wall, while the Lyric platform (transitioning to the Honeywell Home app) adds Alexa and Google Home voice control plus filter and humidity alerts. Because the device talks to the mini-split via IR, line-of-sight placement matters, and the 24 V transformer must be routed to the chosen location. The package frees the installer from running low-voltage wires to each indoor unit and gives the homeowner a consolidated dashboard for every paired head.
