Bluetooth 5.4 USB Adapter

The Hitoor BT09-5.4 is a USB Bluetooth 5.4 adapter built around a Realtek chipset that supports dual-mode BR/EDR and BLE operation. It connects to Windows 11, 10, 8.1 or 7 PCs and laptops, adding wireless links for headphones, headsets, speakers, mice and keyboards. The dongle works on a plug-and-play basis for Windows 8.1 and newer, while Windows 7 requires a driver install. It is not compatible with Mac OS, Linux, Windows 8, XP, Vista, TVs, game consoles or car stereos.

Upgrade from older Bluetooth versions

The adapter replaces USB dongles limited to Bluetooth 5.3, 5.1, 5.0, 4.2, 4.0, 3.0, 2.1, 2.0 or 1.1 by moving to the 5.4 specification while keeping full backward compatibility. The jump is worth it when you need the newer dual-mode stack for current peripherals or when an existing dongle shows driver errors or pairing conflicts on Windows 10 and 11. Two BT09 units can also be paired directly to each other for a simple point-to-point link. Buyers who need Mac OS, Linux or console support should look elsewhere.

150M range and seven-device capacity

An enhanced antenna provides a quoted 150M line-of-sight range, giving headroom for whole-room coverage and stable connections through walls. The controller handles up to seven simultaneous Bluetooth devices, so a keyboard, mouse, headset and speakers can all stay active together. Range will drop with obstructions and interference, and the seven-device limit means very dense peripheral setups may need a second adapter. Windows 7 users must install the supplied driver before the full device count is available.
