Passive Cooling and USB-Powered Stability

Power is drawn from any USB-A port on the display or a separate charger, keeping the 48 Gbps link steady during normal viewing or gaming sessions. HDCP 2.3 and CEC pass-through work automatically with compatible sources. No external power adapter is included, so a free USB port or charger must be available at the install location.

Sustained 8K and High-Refresh 4K Performance

Under continuous load the chip maintains 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz without frame drops, provided the source, cable and display all support the chosen mode. HDR, VRR, ALLM and 12-bit deep colour are preserved across long sessions. Audio formats up to 7.1-channel LPCM and Dolby TrueHD pass through, though Sonos ARC is not supported. Users whose displays lack HDMI 2.1 will be limited to lower resolutions and refresh rates.
