Steady output across modes

In normal operation the lamp is rated for 2000 hours, while switching to economy mode extends the rated life to 3000 hours at reduced brightness. The 200W UHB design maintains consistent colour and ignition performance throughout the rated period rather than fading quickly after an initial peak. Regular filter cleaning and proper cool-down cycles help the module reach the upper end of the economy rating. Installations that run continuously without cool-down intervals will see shorter effective life.

Interface defined by the projector

The lamp connects through the proprietary socket and ballast built into each supported Hitachi model, so electrical and mechanical compatibility is fixed by the projector itself. No universal standard governs the pin layout or ignition voltage, and the module cannot be adapted to other brands or to projectors outside the ED-A111 / DT00893 compatibility list. Users must verify the exact projector model before purchase because the housing will not seat in a different chassis.
