The Hayward BFA3005TFS is a bulkhead tank fitting designed for 1/2 inch FNPT threaded connections on curved or flat tank walls. Verify Tank And Thread Compatibility

Confirm the tank wall thickness allows the fitting to seat fully without a bolt-hole pattern. The inside and outside connections are both 1/2 inch female NPT, so mating parts must carry matching male threads. Operating limits are 150 psi at 70 degrees F and a temperature range of 40 to 180 degrees F. Ensure system pressure and fluid temperature stay within these boundaries before installation.

Opaque Polypropylene With FKM Seal

The opaque polypropylene shell resists UV exposure and common pool chemicals without added coatings. The factory-fitted FKM gasket provides the primary seal against the tank surface, eliminating the need for separate gasket kits or thread sealant on the tank interface. No bolts, brackets or additional hardware are included in the package.
