Optical Limits of a Clear Protective Filter

The filter operates with a 1x filter factor, meaning it requires no exposure compensation and does not alter the light reaching the sensor. Each glass surface carries 10 layers of anti-reflection coating to minimise internal ghosting and flare, delivering enhanced contrast and colour accuracy across varied lighting. A Nano coating adds water and oil beading for easier cleaning. It cannot reduce haze or block ultraviolet light like dedicated UV or skylight filters.

Capacity for Daily Defence and Clean Handling

The multi-layer coating stack comfortably handles routine environmental hazards such as fingerprints, sea spray and fine grit, allowing quick removal without aggressive rubbing. The optical glass and hardened coatings resist normal wear, but the filter will not survive heavy impact that shatters the glass or deforms the aluminum ring. It offers no light reduction for long exposures and no polarisation control for reflections.
