82 mm magnetic rear adapter

The Haida 82 mm Magnetic Rear Adapter Ring threads onto the rear of compatible lenses and provides a magnetic interface for Haida magnetic filters. It replaces conventional front-mount filter holders and step-up rings, reducing the stack height that can cause vignetting on wide-angle lenses. Photographers who already own Haida magnetic filters gain a lighter, faster workflow without buying new glass for each thread size. Builders using non-magnetic filter systems or lenses without rear threads will not benefit.

Replaces front filter holders

The ring removes the need for bulky front filter holders and multiple step-up rings by moving the attachment point to the lens rear thread. The jump is worth it when you shoot with wide-angle lenses where every millimetre of clearance matters, or when you switch filters frequently and want the speed of magnetic snap-on changes. It does not help if your lenses lack rear filter threads or if you rely on screw-in circular filters that are not magnetic.

82 mm thread with 52–95 mm range

The adapter fits 82 mm rear threads and is part of a series covering 52 mm to 95 mm sizes, letting one filter set serve many lenses. It comfortably handles standard and wide-angle zooms where vignetting from thick front stacks is a real problem. It runs out on lenses with smaller or larger rear threads, on lenses that have no rear thread at all, and for photographers who need square or rectangular filter formats that the magnetic circular system does not support.
