Direct replacement battery

The GTS HMC3X00-LI(S) is a 3.7 V lithium-ion battery built as a direct replacement for Zebra MC3000 and MC31XX series mobile scanners. It fits the original battery compartment without modification and uses cells selected for consistent discharge performance. Warehouse and retail teams can swap packs during a shift without tools. It is not suited for devices outside the MC3000 or MC31XX families.

2740 mAh capacity and cycle life

Rated at 2740 mAh, the pack delivers enough energy for extended scanning sessions in typical inventory and point-of-sale workflows. The chemistry is engineered for longer cycle life, so the usable capacity degrades more slowly across repeated charge cycles. Heavy continuous use with the radio and display at maximum brightness will drain the pack faster than light intermittent scanning. It does not increase the scanner’s inherent power draw or add fast-charge capability.

Rigorous testing and reduced spares

Each unit undergoes temperature, vibration, shock, drop, short-circuit and overcharge validation before shipment. The testing regime aims to lower early-failure rates in demanding environments such as loading docks or cold storage. Because the cells hold charge longer over their lifespan, operations can maintain a smaller pool of spare batteries. No charging cradle, firmware tool or mounting hardware is bundled with the battery.
