The Greenlee 7212SP-2-1/2P is a Speed Punch series knockout punch designed for electricians and installers who need to create clean, round conduit openings in junction boxes and panels. It cuts a precise 2 91/100 inch diameter hole, matching the nominal 2-1/2 inch trade size required for standard fittings. The tool handles mild steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass and plastic up to 10 gauge thickness. It is sold as a single punch component without a draw stud.

Manual and hydraulic operation thermals

Because the punch is a hand-operated cutting tool, it produces no operational heat, draws no electrical power and generates no fan or motor noise during use. The cutting action relies entirely on the force applied by a compatible battery-hydraulic or manual-hydraulic driver chosen by the operator.
