This set contains two black toner cartridges and two drum units built to replace Brother TN660 and DR630 supplies. Installation Steps and Common Issues

Shake each toner cartridge six to eight times, remove the orange protective cover, insert the cartridge into its drum unit, then slide the combined assembly into the printer until it clicks. The process follows the standard Brother slot design and needs no tools. Problems usually come from forgetting to remove the cover, not seating the cartridge fully in the drum, or skipping the shake step which can leave toner clumped and cause faint first pages.

Page Yield and Practical Limits

Each toner cartridge yields about 2600 pages at 0.05 coverage while each drum unit is rated for 12000 pages under the same conditions. That means one drum typically outlasts four toner changes, so the two-drum pack covers the life of all four cartridges with headroom to spare. Very dense text or graphics at higher coverage will reduce the toner count well before the drum reaches its limit, and colour printing is not supported because the set is monochrome only.
