The Glow Edge ParaSnap is a 32″ octagonal softbox built for photographers using Profoto A2 monolights. Its shape produces even, wraparound light suited to portrait and product work. The kit includes a dedicated Profoto A2 adapter that mounts magnetically to the light body. A carry case is supplied for transport and storage.

Upgrade from umbrella or smaller softbox

Moving from a basic umbrella or a 20″ softbox to this 32″ octagon gives broader coverage and smoother fall-off without adding bulk. The Click/Locking frame lets you deploy or collapse the modifier in a single motion, cutting setup time on location. Photographers who need a larger spread or who work without an assistant will notice the workflow difference immediately. It does not replace a beauty dish or a large parabolic reflector when contrast and focus are required.

Handles head-and-shoulders to half-body portraits

At 32″ the modifier covers individual portraits and small product sets with soft, directional light. The SterlingFibre silver lining maximises output from the A2’s compact head. For full-length fashion or group shots the spread becomes too narrow, and a larger octagon or scrim is needed. The magnetic adapter is specific to the Profoto A2, so the kit cannot be used with other monolights or speedlights without a different mount.
