5MP 62° Camera for Raspberry Pi

The Freenove FNK0056 is a 5-megapixel camera module that connects directly to the native camera port on Raspberry Pi boards. It captures still images at 2592 x 1944 pixels and records video at 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps. An adjustable holder lets you set the viewing angle precisely for your project. The 62° field of view suits general-purpose monitoring and robotics vision tasks.

Upgrade from basic webcams or fixed-focus modules

This module replaces USB webcams that consume a USB port and add latency. It also replaces fixed-focus camera boards that cannot be repositioned without remounting. The jump is worth it when you need direct CSI bandwidth for lower CPU overhead and a physical holder that lets you aim the lens without tools. It does not suit builds that require a wider field of view or global-shutter capture for fast motion.

Fits Pi boards with a CSI camera port

The ribbon cable plugs into the camera port on Raspberry Pi 5, 4B, 3B+, 3B, 3A+, 2B, 1B+, 1A+, Zero 2 W, Zero W and Zero. It does not fit the Raspberry Pi 500 or 400, which only accept USB cameras. No extra drivers are needed beyond the standard libcamera stack. The adjustable holder frees you from designing a custom mount or bracket for the sensor board.
