Extension kit for ATX builds

The FormulaMod Fm-NCK1 kit supplies pre-sleeved extensions for the three main internal power paths: a 24-pin ATX motherboard cable, two 8-pin PCIe cables for graphics cards, and one 8-pin EPS cable for the CPU. Each lead measures 300 mm and uses 18 AWG conductors wrapped in a three-layer construction with a soft nylon outer braid. Black connectors and four combs per cable give a uniform look for colour-coordinated builds.

Pre-bent connectors and comb management

Every cable arrives pre-bent 180° at the connector end; the ATX and EPS plugs bend toward the buckle side while the PCIe plugs bend away from it, so builders must verify their motherboard and graphics card header orientation before purchase. The male 5557 to female 5559 interface matches standard ATX power supplies from major brands without requiring custom modular cables. Included combs lock each wire in place for tidy routing behind the motherboard tray.

Ready-to-install cable set

The package contains the four extensions and sixteen black combs already assembled, eliminating the need to sleeve or crimp wires during the build. FormulaMod advises against disassembling the cables and notes that special tools are required if any DIY adjustment is attempted. Because the pre-bend direction is fixed, the kit will not suit boards or cards whose latch orientation differs from the specification.
