Wireless Display Setup and Range Limits

Pairing the detachable screen with the clamp body is a simple wireless link that activates on power-up, but the signal must travel through air and any intervening enclosures. Metal cabinets, conduit runs or dense cable bundles can attenuate the connection, causing the display to drop readings or require the operator to move closer. Obstructions between the two units are the most common cause of intermittent operation.

Radio Link Distance and Environmental Constraints

The wireless interface works reliably only within its unobstructed range, which shrinks significantly inside industrial switchgear or when walls separate the clamp from the display. Heavy electromagnetic fields from large motors or transformers may also degrade the link. Users needing continuous monitoring beyond that range must keep the display in sight of the clamp or revert to a traditional tethered meter.
