The Fluance Ri71 is a pair of active bookshelf speakers with an integrated 120W amplifier. They accept Bluetooth aptX HD, HDMI ARC, RCA and subwoofer outputs so you can connect a turntable, TV or PC without a separate receiver. The 5-inch woven glass fiber drivers and Air Motion Transformer tweeters handle stereo duties in a single compact system. Buyers who need passive speakers for an existing amplifier cannot use this model.

Build Integration and Connectivity

Each cabinet houses its own amplification, freeing rack space that a standalone receiver would occupy. The front-firing ports allow placement close to a rear wall without choking bass response. HDMI ARC lets a television remote control volume directly, while the RCA input accommodates analogue sources such as a phono preamp. A subwoofer output adds low-frequency extension when desired.
