This Fluance bundle combines a dense MDF isolation platform with a record weight stabiliser to improve vinyl playback. The heavy base suppresses environmental vibrations while the weight clamps the record to the platter for better contact. It is designed for listeners who want cleaner low-frequency response and reduced wow and flutter from their existing turntable setup.

Vibration Isolation and Speed Stability Limits

The 10.5 lb MDF platform provides mass-loaded damping but cannot eliminate structural vibrations transmitted through the furniture it sits on. The record weight increases platter inertia for more consistent rotational speed yet cannot correct severe warps or off-centre pressings. Both components work passively without electronic feedback or active cancellation circuitry.

Installation Practicalities
