Extension Head for XPLOR 400Pro

The Flashpoint XP-400 Pro Extension Head connects to the XPLOR 400Pro monolight, replacing the built-in flashtube with an eight-foot cable link. It delivers the full 400ws output at the remote position for photographers who need the power unit in one spot and the light source in another. The head accepts Bowens-mount modifiers via the XPLOR 400Pro Bowens adapter and includes an umbrella holder with a 220-degree tilt lock.

Upgrade from Fixed-Head Operation

This head replaces the standard fixed flashtube mounting on the XPLOR 400Pro, letting you boom or hand-hold the flash tube while the main unit stays on the floor or a stand. The jump is worth it when shooting in tight interiors, on location with limited stand space, or whenever the monolight body must remain stationary for balance or cable management. It adds no light loss compared to the direct-mount configuration.
