Quick-Release Turtle Base C-Stand Kit

The Flashpoint Brand 40" Quick Release Turtle Base C-Stand Kit combines a 10 ft maximum height riser with a detachable turtle base for studio lighting and grip work. A spring ring locking mechanism removes leg tension so gravity assists height adjustments. The kit includes a 2.5 in grip head mounted on a 40 in steel grip arm with a 16 mm diameter tube. It supports loads from 19.1 to 25 lbs for lights, modifiers or accessories.

Metal Construction and Detachable Base

Robust metal construction withstands demanding studio conditions and repeated setup cycles. The turtle base separates from the riser for compact transport and can be paired with a stand adapter for low-angle mounting. The grip arm terminates in a faceted hex stud that locks lighting fixtures securely. Two rotatable aluminium discs in the grip head connect to a 16 mm receiver for flexible positioning.

Upgrading from Fixed-Base Stands

This kit replaces fixed-base C-stands that cannot separate the riser for travel or low mounting. The quick-release base and spring ring lock speed up repeated height changes on location.
