Red strobe for regulatory night flights

The Firehouse Technology ARC Red Strobe is a self-contained anti-collision light built for drone operators who must meet FAA 107.29 and CAA visibility rules during night operations. It uses four Cree LEDs to deliver a bright red signal visible beyond three statute miles, helping pilots maintain line of sight in darkness. The unit weighs very little so it does not noticeably affect flight time or handling.

Three selectable lighting modes

The single specification that determines suitability is the choice between Strobe, Flash and steady fixed modes, all driven by the same four-emitter array. Only the strobe and flash settings satisfy the FAA 107 anti-collision requirement for night waivers; the fixed mode serves as a standard navigation light. Pilots who need a dedicated strobe pattern for regulatory compliance should verify the mode they intend to fly before purchasing.

Rechargeable battery and universal mount

A built-in 250 mhr rechargeable cell powers the light, removing the need for disposable coin cells and reducing ongoing cost. The compact housing attaches to almost any airframe including DJI Phantom, Mavic, Air, Spark, Inspire, Matrice and 3DR Solo models using the supplied adhesive or strap mount. Buyers who require an externally powered strobe for unlimited runtime or a hard-wired installation will need a different solution.
