The Fervit Wedge Joint USB-C Cable is built for users who charge phones, tablets and laptops through thick protective cases. Its wedge shaped connector housing clears case cut outs that block standard plugs, while the integrated E Marker chip enables USB Power Delivery 3.1 at up to 240W and 48V5A. Backward compatibility with PD 3.0 and 2.0 lets the same cable handle 140W, 100W and 60W devices without negotiation errors.

Build Integration and Data Role

The 1.6FT length keeps a desk or vehicle console tidy while reaching a laptop port or in dash USB socket. Because the cable carries USB 2.0 signalling at 480Mbps it suits Android Auto and CarPlay links that require OTG support, but it will not serve high speed storage or video alternate modes. No active repeater or external power is needed, so the cable adds no bulk to a minimal carry kit.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous high wattage charging the E Marker chip monitors voltage and current in real time, adjusting the profile to match the attached device and preventing overcharge conditions.
