The Fervit adapter converts a USB-C Power Delivery source into a 20 V 5 A DC barrel output, delivering up to 100 W for compatible laptops. It supports PD along with QC 2.0 and QC 3.0 input profiles, and a built-in trigger chip negotiates the 20 V 5 A contract automatically. Practical limits of the PD trigger

Full 100 W output requires a charger and cable rated for at least 100 W; lower-rated sources will fall back to reduced power such as 65 W. The adapter accepts an input voltage window of 18.5 V to 20.5 V, so the connected PD charger must be able to supply 20 V within that range. The DC barrel jack is a fixed size, so the laptop's charging port must match exactly. No voltage conversion or regulation occurs beyond the negotiated PD contract.

Confirm that your laptop charges through a DC barrel jack rated for 20 V and 5 A maximum. Check the barrel dimensions against the adapter's fixed plug to ensure a secure fit.
