The EZBR-0214+ is a high-power 2.4 GHz wireless bridge kit rated at 250 mW and compliant with 802.11g and n standards. It delivers real-world throughput up to 100 Mbps and can link two networks up to three miles apart with clear line of sight. The system supports multiple MAC addresses and DHCP passthrough across the wireless link. Multiple units can be joined in a mesh to interconnect more than two sites.

Installers needing simple building-to-building links

This product suits installers who need a plug-and-play outdoor link for internet sharing, remote video surveillance or multi-building network access. It is not for buyers who require licensed-band operation, higher throughput than 100 Mbps or 5 GHz spectrum use. It also does not suit deployments where clear line of sight cannot be achieved between the two endpoints.

Plug-and-play setup with automatic peer discovery

Installation consists of mounting the antennas and connecting the supplied power supplies; the units automatically find each other and establish a secure link. Security defaults include password verification, MAC authentication, SSID suppression and WPA2 encryption. Misalignment of the directional antennas is the most common cause of reduced range or unstable throughput.
