715W AC PoE power supply for X465 switches

This 715 watt AC power supply module delivers PoE power to ExtremeSwitching X465 series switches. It supports the X465-24MU, X465-24S, X465-24W, X465-24XE, X465-48P, X465-48T and X465-48W models. The unit uses front-to-back airflow to match the switch cooling design. It is built for network environments that need reliable inline power delivery.

Front-to-back airflow constraint

The module moves air from the front panel to the rear of the chassis. This airflow direction must match the installed switch and the rack layout. Installing it in a reverse-airflow chassis would disrupt thermal management. The design suits standard front-intake rack configurations only. Buyers with rear-to-front cooling requirements cannot use this module.

Replaces lower-wattage or failed X465 supplies

This unit replaces an existing X465 power supply that has failed or provides less PoE budget. The jump is worth it when connected devices such as access points or cameras exceed the current power reserve. It also adds redundancy when installed as a second module in a supported chassis. Switches outside the X465 series cannot accept this module.
